Follow A Reading Plan
Set Up Your Reading Plans
Reading Plan Setup offers six published plans, or builds one from the books you choose. Each day names a passage — read today what God appointed for you today. Nothing is scored and nothing is owed. A plan someone shares with you arrives as a code: Enter A Plan Code.
The Daily Reading Email
Your account can send one email a day, at the time you choose, naming the passages your plans hold for that day.
On Your Home Screen
Add FerventWord to your phone’s home screen (on iPhone, in Safari, Share → Add to Home Screen; on Android, in Chrome, ⋮ → Install app) and it opens like an app, at Today’s Reading.
Read The Bible
Open A Passage
Tap the passage name at the top of the page to pick a book, a chapter and a verse. Three bookmarks along the bottom hold three places at once, each with its own version.
Highlight And Take Notes
Select words, then choose Highlight and a color; tap a highlight to write a note. Highlights are filed into notebooks you name, and they are kept with your account.
The Bible Guide
The Bible Guide at the top of a chapter opens its outline, key verse, and where the New Testament quotes it.
Read Anywhere
The chapters you read, and your plans’ coming readings, are kept on your device, so they open without a connection. Listening streams, so that one needs a connection.
Tips
Recent Passages
Recent Passages remembers where you have been so you can go back. Clear it whenever you like under Settings → Clear & Delete.
Take Your Work With You
Anything you make here you can take out. Export & Import writes your plans and notebooks to a file you can read without this site, or open in the FerventWord app on iPhone.
